Upesh began his career as an animator, contributing his talents to numerous Disney and DreamWorks animated television shows throughout his decade-long tenure in the industry. During his evenings, he pursued a second career as a freelance illustrator for children’s books.
Presently, Upesh serves as a co-founder of ‘The Other Design Studio,’ a creative venture he embarked upon with his wife, Angie, an endeavor that has flourished for more than two decades.
He also cycles around the greener parts of the city on weekends, write a song or two and croaks with his guitar and harmonica in tow for an audience of one, and reads graphic novels by the kilo at 2 in the morning.
Recently, Upesh has taken on the role of managing trustee at an autism school in Bangalore, where their active engagement extends to fundraising and operational responsibilities.
