Soumya Ayer volunteers as a docent with the Friends of the Museums in Singapore. As a museum docent, Soumya experiments with storytelling to capture audiences of different age groups, uncovering secrets that objects hold. She has published three books on Indian mythology for children. Soumya belongs to SCBWI’s Singapore chapter. The Ghost of Malabar, her first work of fiction has been shortlisted for the Neev Book Award and the Atta Galatta BLF awards.
