Shalini Satish is a software engineer by profession and a writer by passion. She is a Vice-President in an investment bank and has 18 years of experience in software development. Shalini has authored several articles that have been published leading newspapers. Along with Raam Baranidharan, she has authored the Young Techie Series (YTS) published by HarperCollins Children’s Books. The Young Techie Series, a set of books on technology for children is the first of its kind in India. The Little Handbook of Cool Technology and Robotics and Other Super Cool Technology deliver ‘cool technology’ in bite-sized portions to children. Shalini and Raam have conducted sessions on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and robotics in various schools.
