Alankrita Amaya is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator who spends her days dreaming up whimsical worlds in her cozy home studio in Bangalore, where she lives with her husband and their cat.
Her work is inspired by the magic hidden in everyday life. Some of her acclaimed books include Little Laali, Muft Ki Kulfi and Boodabim.
She is also the co-founder of Hallubol, an initiative that preserves local Dakhni culture through bilingual comics. When she’s not making books, Alankrita can be found talking to cats, making candles or tending to her garden.
