Kavita Singh Kale is an alumna of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and the University of Delhi, with a background in children’s content creation, animation filmmaking, and transmedia art practice. Known for her vibrant and playful visual style, her multidisciplinary practice spans across installations, sculptures, book art, paintings, and films. When not writing, illustrating, or making art, she enjoys travelling. Inspired by people and everyday encounters, she creates character-driven narratives and intimate microcosm worlds drawn from close observation of life. Kavita is the co-founder of Underground Worm art and design studio, and currently serves as Associate Professor at Vidyashilp University.
