Menaka Raman is the author of a number of picture books for children, inlcuding Gappu Can’t Dance, Topi Rockets from Thumba and Ira Investigates the Invisible. Her book Loki Takes Guard won the Valley of Words Award for Writing for Young Adults. Her short stories have appeared in anthologies published by Penguin, Speaking Tiger and Scholastic India. She has written on parenting and children’s books for some of India’s leading newspapers.
