Manu S Pillai is a historian and the author of four books. His first book, The Ivory Throne (2015), won the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar. He has published widely in Indian newspapers and writes a column for Mint Lounge. Manu also holds a PhD in history from King’s College London. His fifth book is scheduled for a December 2024 release.
