Lavanya Karthik is an award winning author of over thirty children’s books. Her books have been translated into over fourteen languages, including Korean and Mandarin. Her book’ The Girl Who Loved to Sing: Teejan Bai’ won the Atta Galatta Book Prize at the Bangalore Literature Festival in 2021, while ‘When Adil Speaks, Words Dance’ won a Publishing Next Award. When not writing or drawing, she can be found wandering the streets of Mumbai, looking for inspiration for her next book.
