Trained at the Riyaaz Academy in Bhopal, Habib Ali has specialized in illustrating children’s literature. He has a degree in BFA from the Government Institute of Fine Arts, Gwalior. A resident of Gwalior, he likes to capture the daily life of city dwellers with his camera and sketchbook. Habib has illustrated children’s literature for the publishers like Duckbill books, Tulika Books, Room to Read, etc. He is also associated with the organizations such as NCERT, Child Fund, Language and Learning Foundation (LLF), Eklavya, Ektara, Pratham to name a few. His book ‘A home of our own’ is selected for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Book Club year 2020.
