Adithi Rao

After a degree in Theatre from Smith College, Massachusetts, Adithi was assistant director on the Hindi film, Satya. 

An author, scriptwriter and playwright across genres and ages, the rights to her film script rests with Aamir Khan Productions. Her award-winning books include The Scent of Roses, Will Goondi Come Home?, Noon Chai and a Story, Candid Tales: India on a Motorcycle and Boy, Bear. 

Her newest—The Bhootbusters of Himmatnagar—(illustrated by Nandita Basu), is her first to be told in graphic novel format. Adithi conducts writing workshops, and is visiting faculty at the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
