Adithi Rao

After a degree in Theatre from Smith College, Massachusetts, Adithi worked as assistant director on the Hindi cult film Satya, and as writer/editor on the travel channel of Indya.com. She has written seven books for children, two for adults, and numerous short stories for anthologies, some of which have been included in English school textbooks across India. Her short fiction for adults and feature articles have appeared in American and Indian literary journals. The rights to Adithi’s film scripts rest with Aamir Khan Productions Ltd. and Excel Entertainment. A play she co-scripted for Katkatha Puppet Arts Trust called “The Nights” debuted at the Festival de Marionettes de Charleville-Mezeires, France 2021.
