Charcoal Identities: The first part of this Masterclass will give a brief description on how the Mommies book was created. It will move onto a quick overview of portraits and their possibilities. In the second part, the participants will be asked to experiment with the elements that constitute a face, after which they will be guided to consider various possibilities of creating the face of a Mommy which they can take home with them. This is a dynamic and fun session involving drawing, colouring and collaging with Priya Sebastian, the illustrator of Mommies.
