Supriya won the 2019 Neev Book Award for her middle grade novel Ahimsa. She has worked on the writing teams of several Hindi films. American as Paneer Pie is a School Library Journal Best Book of 2020. It is also a highly commendable book of the 2021 South Asia Book Awards.
