Born in 1973, Suresh Eriyat, a post graduate in design from NID Ahmedabad, currently is the founder director of Studio Eeksaurus. He is an animation film maker, artist, storyteller, advertising film director with a rich portfolio of over 500 films and over 200 national and international awards. Having won the first ever Annecy Cristal for the country in 2005, Suresh’s films have won the president’s national award in 2016, 2018 and 2023 for the best animated film. Having sat in several prestigious jury panels of the likes of Clio, One screen, D&AD, Apollo, LIA, Promax, Adfest, Krok etc for many years, he also takes time out to mentor students and aspiring filmmakers across India. He is also a trained Carnatic musician with a deep interest in philosophy, anthropology and culture..
