Sonia Mehta
Sonia Mehta is a children’s author who believes that firing up a child’s imagination means opening up a world of adventure. Her body of work ranges from creating one of India’s first dedicated children’s newspaper sections; to writing books, songs, poems and stories for publishers in India, Africa, USA and UK. Apart from co-founding Quadrum Solutions, where she leads teams to create children’s books, she’s authored numerous books for Penguin-Puffin – including the popular Discover India series. Podsquad is a company she co-founded to create children’s edutainment products. A Mumbai resident, most days she can be found pounding away at her computer – when she is not playing with her grand-daughter and two of her little dogs – the loves of her life.
