Shubhshree Mathur is a Bangalore-based picture book artist, author, and educator with over a decade of experience in illustration and design. She has illustrated around fifteen books for publishers including Speaking Tiger, Penguin Random House, Karadi Tales, Pratham Books, and Scholastic.
When she isn’t making books, she can usually be found drinking tea, buying more books than she can read, writing the occasional poem, or pursuing her ambition to become a full-time houseplant. A lifelong bibliophile and collector of nostalgia, she remains cheerfully trapped somewhere in childhood and has a soft spot for winters and stories that stay long after the last page is turned.
