Saumya Oberoi is an artist and designer based in Bangalore, India. She has been illustrating children’s books since 2022, when she was still a student of Animation at the IDC School of Design, Mumbai. Her titles include “Baloo’s Big Win”, “Agassi and the Great Cycle Race”, “Animals in the House”, and “Come Back Soon, Mira!”. Saumya is also an occasional drummer, a longtime Bharatanatyam dancer, and a lifelong seafood-enjoyer. Her greatest professional desire is to make a living out of good design, beautiful images and stunning colors; her secret personal desire is to make her loved ones shed tears of amazement at her cooking.
