Sangeetha Kadur finds her niche as a wildlife artist. Twice nominated for the BBC’s Wildlife Artist of the Year, her works have been published across a wide range of journals, books and magazines. Her illustrations have been part of a big international publication on ‘Hummingbirds of the World’ in collaboration with Felis creations and Gorgas Science Foundation, Texas. Sangeetha partners with wildlife organisations to build various outreach materials and among her recent big endeavour is curating and designing the Holematthi Nature Information Center adjacent to the Malai Mahadeshwara Wildlife Sanctuary in collaboration with Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF). Through her art, she aspires to draw light upon the fascinating natural world that surrounds us and create a sense of awareness.
