Saisudha Acharya writes history that doesn’t feel like homework. Her first book, ‘History Unpacked: The Why, When and What of Ancient India’, brings the past alive for young readers with humour, comics, and curious questions. She believes children can handle complexity as long as the storytelling is clear, playful, and honest. Before turning to writing, she worked in education and curriculum design. She has a degree in Economics from UC San Diego and lives in Bangalore, where she spends her time reading, writing, and occasionally wondering how ancient people managed without coffee.
