Nandita Basu

 Nandita, is a comic book artist and a trained Western classical pianist and violinist from the London College of Music. She has written three full length graphic novels for Young Adults and one for adult readers.  Her short graphic narratives have been published in various anthologies like Comix India and Verite. 

Her book Rain must fall won the Neev Literature award in The YA category in 2022. Her books, The piano a story of a friendship  and Starry Starry Nights have also been on the  Parag honour List.  

Nandita likes to have conversations with animals and children (in that order) more than adults. She has had many great adventures in life, which she doesn’t like to disclose, because some things should remain that way.
