Alumnus of National Institute of Design Ahmedabad & College of Art Delhi University, Kavita Singh Kale has several years of experience in children’s content creation, animation filmmaking and transmedia art practice. Her artistic explorations have turned into commercial design projects that have been showcased in national and international platforms. As a children’s book author and illustrator, she has over fifty titles to her credit (featuring on the Parag Honour Lists 2020, 2023 and 2024; winning awards such as the Darshana National Book Award and North Macedonia Ministry of Culture Grant). Known for her playful and bold art style, Kavita’s work encompasses illustration, painting and animation film, showcasing her vibrant color palettes and intriguing character designs.
