Joeanna has a wide and varied interest in everything interesting. She grew up in Bombay, lived briefly in Chennai, and now lives in Gurgaon. It was while working as a journalist with The Times of India in Bombay that she started to pay attention to the city’s history, as narrated by its old buildings. Her fascination for history and built heritage eventually led her to write Treasure at The Train Station, set in Bombay’s most beautiful railway station — Victoria Terminus — known today as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Joeanna believes old buildings are the quickest and cheapest way to time-travel. All you have to do is walk through the door!
