Jahnavi Phalkey is founding director, Science Gallery Bengaluru. Before taking on her current role, Jahnavi was faculty at Kings College London. She is the author of Atomic State: Big Science in Twentieth Century India and co-edited Science of Giants: China and India in the Twentieth Century. Jahnavi is editor-in-chief of the British Journal for the History of Science Themes and of South Asian Studies. She is also director and producer of the documentary film, Cyclotron. Jahnavi holds a masters’ degree in politics from the University of London, and a doctoral degree in the history of science and technology from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. Jahnavi was awarded the Infosys Prize in Humanities (2023).
