Devangana is a bookmaker, illustrator and design educator.Her picture book ‘The Jungle Radio: Birdsongs of India’ (Penguin Random House India, 2019) has been acclaimed by South Asia Book Award, Comic Con India, and Publishing Next Industry Awards.
As a book designer she works with leading publishing houses globally, and makes and hoards books for her dream library. Her art and stories are rooted in nature, community, conservation, education, childhood and mental health.
For inspiration she relies on children’s picture books, the ocean, her two cats and a cup of chai.
