Nadine Bailey is a IB (International Baccalaureate) PYP (Primary Years Programme) teacher librarian at the Canadian International School, Tanjong Katong Campus, in Singapore. She believes in the power of social belonging and affiliation in helping students become comfortable with libraries and reading — and is passionate about the role of picture books in aiding conceptual, social and emotional learning in students of all ages. Nadine has lived and worked in Africa, Europe, South America and Asia and embraces literature as an integral part of identity, culture and language. She has Masters degrees in Information Studies, Education, Philosophy and Business Administration.
