Vinitha

Vinitha has written over 24 books for children, two of which are part of CBSE curriculum and two, part of ICSE English Language Textbook. Her book Sera Learns to Fly, won the FICCI Best Children’s Book of the Year award, 2019, while her book Ammu and the Sparrow won the Neev Book Award 2021 in the Early Years Category. Two of her books are part of the Parag Honor List. She won the Hedgebrook Radical Retreat Scholarship for the food memoir she has nearly finished writing. She has been engaged in a project with 20 women artists from all over the world, called Once_Together. Her poetry has been featured at The Bangalore Review and The Alipore Poetry Post.
