Urvashi Balasubramaniam (aged 14) is a poet and the author of the book ‘The Little Glow’, which she wrote when she was just eleven years old. A voracious reader, she has been writing poems, short stories and interesting articles ever since she could read and write. She is incredibly passionate about music and is currently in Trinity College London’s Grade 8 of Piano. An environment-conscious individual, she runs an organisation for activism and change called The EcoClub United. In addition, she enjoys coding and playing basketball. She attended the Design For Change Festival as a celebrity guest where she recited a poem that was choreographed by the organisers of the event. The Little Glow has reached places across the globe, has been placed in libraries where it is used as teaching material and even been bought by notable celebrities.
