Proiti Roy is a designer and illustrator, who started her career in advertising in the late 80s. Later, she taught art and craft to children in Kolkata . It was during this period that she developed her interest and focus on illustrating for children’s books. Now living in Shantiniketan, in West Bengal, she rescues and helps animals in need as well as illustrates and designs.
