Rahil Mohsin is a Bangalore-based comic artist, writer, and co-founder of Hallubol, the world’s first bilingual Dakhni-English comic series. With over 15 years of experience in comics and illustration, he has worked with publishers including Scout Comics, Scholastic, Pratham Books, Room to Read, and contributed to the anthology Comixense.
Alongside self-publishing his own comics, he has illustrated several children’s books, while Fayu & Dariya Ka Jinn marks his debut as both writer and illustrator. His work explores Dakhni language, folklore, neighbourhood culture, food, and the everyday lives of South Indian Muslim communities through comics and picture books. Across his practice, Rahil is interested in preserving oral traditions, multilingual storytelling, and overlooked cultural histories through visual narratives.
