Amish Tripathi is an author, former diplomat, broadcaster, and cultural commentator. Since publishing his first book in 2010, he has written 12 bestselling books that have sold over 8 million copies and been translated into 21 languages, making him the fastest-selling author in Indian publishing history.
He has been regularly featured among Forbes India’s Top 100 Most Influential Celebrities. His recent honours include the Dwarka Prasad Agarwal Award (Jaipur Literature Festival 2024), Best Factual Presenter at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (2025), and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of York (2026).
From 2019 to 2023, he served as Minister (Culture & Education) at the Indian High Commission to the UK and Director of The Nehru Centre, London.
