About: Tsering can’t wait to taste his grandmother’s delicious noodle soup. He invites a string of friends and neighbours home, and soon, a meal for two snowballs into a large, festive event. But as preparations get underway, there is a power cut and the house is plunged into darkness. Will Abi be able to put together the much-anticipated thukpa? Told from a blind child’s perspective, this tale by Praba Ram and Sheela Preuitt is set in a close-knit community in Ladakh. Accompanied by Shilpa Ranade’s stunning illustrations, this is a story that’s warm and delectable, much like Abi’s thukpa.

I loved the book because it has many details and characters.the story is interesting and fun.The author did a great job .they also told us the step of how to take thupka.I migtht want to try it one day.thank you authors.
The theme of this story is similar to the folktale Stone Soup, turned into a popular book by Marcia Brown. This is a story which shows that differently-abled children can surprise anyone with their stock of abilities! Thukpa for All makes room for readers to begin conversations around collaboration, sharing, and friendship.
